1. Compare the whole landed route
Freight alone can hide drayage, customs, storage, domestic handoff, prep, and FBA inbound placement costs. This model keeps those line items visible so operations and finance can challenge the same assumptions.

LCL uses the greater of cubic meters or metric tons as its planning measure. FCL count uses both practical cube and the published physical payload ceilings in Maersk's official cargo weight limits; road, rail, port, and lane limits may be lower.
